STW.ICT Conference 2010

Technology Foundation STW will organise the first of an annual STW.ICT conference on Research in Information and communication Technology on November 18-19, 2010 at Veldhoven, the Netherlands. The conferece stems from the popular SAFE en ProRISC workshops. These workshops will continue unaltered. During this time, more workshops in the field of ICT research will be developed.

The STW.ICT conference 2010 will encompass the 13th SAFE workshop on Semiconductors Advances for Future Electronics and the 21th ProRISC workshop on Circuits, Systems and Signal Processing and two new workshops: the first PROGRESS workshop on Embedded Systems & Software and the first Sentinels workshop on Security in ICT.

The aim of the STW.ICT conference is primarily to bring together researchers from universities, institutes and industry, and to serve as a platform for discussion in the fields of IC-technology and -manufacturing. The informal ambience of the workshop makes it an ideal place for young PhD students to take their first steps in presenting their research. At the workshop young PhD students and Postdocs get the chance to interact and establish contacts with colleagues from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The majority of the submitting authors will present their work by means of a poster and a flash presentation while some of them will be invited to elaborate on their work in an oral presentation.
